From March 15th to March 20th, lecturers Yu Bo, Associate Professor Xue Xingqun, and Li Pengsheng from the School of Business and Intellectual Property visited Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Yiwu in Zhejiang Province to conduct research on cross-border e-commerce flows and logistics.

The research group first arrived in Ningbo and participated in the 2023 International Shipping Development Summit Forum. During the conference, extensive exchanges were held with representatives of logistics associations and enterprises from port cities such as Shanghai, Xiamen, and Dalian. Teacher Yu Bo attended the establishment ceremony of the joint conference of various port logistics associations nationwide as a guest.

Subsequently, the research team visited the China CEEC Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, China (Ningbo) Cross border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Alibaba Group Hangzhou Xixi Park to fully understand the cross-border e-commerce supply chain system. The last stop was in Yiwu, where I visited the National E-commerce Demonstration Base, International Land Port E-commerce City, and two companies, Parsons Glasses and Lingzan Supply Chain, to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation and talent demand for the coordinated development of cross-border e-commerce and domestic e-commerce.

This survey has yielded fruitful results. Not only we have learned about the latest development trends in the industry, but we have also gained an understanding of the basic situation and world pattern of international trade. It has played a powerful role in linking theory with practice, exploring scientific issues, and writing papers on the land of our motherland!
