Driven by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, countries around the world are actively using sustainable development as a guide for businesses to participate in global competition and achieve long-term development. For Chinese enterprises, reforms must also be carried out, shifting from traditional economic centric business models to more inclusive models, where natural environment and social responsibility are equally important. With the arrival of Industry 4.0, the development of digital technology has brought new opportunities for the transformation of enterprises and their supply chains. Research on the use of digital technology and platform governance has also become a hot topic. In recent years, the Cui Li research group at the Business School has been committed to research on digitalization and sustainable supply chain management, and has made new progress recently.

The research group has shown that in the context of Industry 4.0, the management of multi-level suppliers, the use of digital technology, and digital platform governance play an important role in the supply chain management of enterprises and even the sustainable operation of the entire enterprise. The relevant research has been published in the following mainstream academic journals:

1. Cui Li, Wu Hao and Jing Dai * Modeling flexible decisions about sustainable supplier selection in multiple sustainable supply chain management International Journal of Production Research (IF=9.018, ASB3, TOP)

2. Cui Li, Wu Hao, Lin Wu, Ajay Kumar * and Kim Hua Tan Investigating the relationship between digital technologies, supply chain integration and firm resistance in the context of COVID-19 Annals of Operations Research (IF=4.820, ASB3, TOP)

The above series of research has been supported by funding from the National Social Science Foundation of China's major projects (21&ZD134), the National Natural Science Foundation of China's youth project (72102029), and the Basic Research Business of Central Universities (DUT21RW102).
